Tuition/Teaching Experience
Had experience in mentoring Primary 5 and 6 students as part of my JC CCA. Also, I have a passion for Biology and Secondary School Mathematics as they are my favourite subjects in Secondary School. I believe this passion would allow me to teach my students well.

Able to commit immediately until around June 2014 (possible to continue if needed).
Do not mind holding group tuitions as well.
Rapport Building
Normally I would get to know more about the students as a friend first, to fully understand what s/he likes or do not likes. This would allow me to better understand them and hence, know how to go about teaching them. Also, I would speak to parents to understand their expectations of both me and their child. From there, I would be able to fully benefit both the parents and student(s) with what I have and to the maximum of my abilities.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I would talk to my younger brother (Sec 3 in 2014) to understand what they are learning. Also, I would talk to my secondary school juniors to better understand how have things remained or changed in school. In addition, I would also visit bookstores to look at textbook and assessment books to know what are the topics covered in the different subjects nowadays.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor would be someone who is able to explain concepts to students clearly and ensuring that they fully grasp it before moving on to other things. A good tutor would not teach for the sake of money, but instead, teach so as to pass on the knowledge s/he has to other people. Lastly, a good tutor must have the passion to teach, and the passion for knowledge so that s/he is able to impart knowledge better to students.
