Commitment / Other Details
Able to start immediately for as long as the student and parent is satisfied with my service.
Rapport Building
During my time as a student care mentor, I frequently motivated the children by rewarding them with sports activities when they achieved certain daily milestones such as completion of school homework and one additional assessment exercise. I also organised and led trips to Sentosa and Snow City during the school holidays to enable learning outside of the classroom.

When parents came to pick up their children, I frequently provided key updates on their child's progress and gathered feedback from the parents on what motivates their child the most.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I consult the latest textbooks and other guidebooks to ensure I am aware of the standard of answers that is expected in exams. Otherwise, I have consulted counsellors on how best to engage students and impart complex concepts in simple bite-size information.
As a Good Tutor
Basic qualities of any tutor is the ability to listen to the students and parents. Tutors need to understand questions from students before they can effectively communicate the right information in a targeted manner. Parents will also find it simpler to communicate their goals with the tutor who may then develop the right study plan for the student.
