Tuition/Teaching Experience: 1.5 years (including personal and group tutoring for H2 Math and Physics. Peer tutor in JC)
Have been coaching upon request from teachers since JC to help out with weaker students in the subjects of Math and Physics. Many scored 'A' and did very well for A levels. Some were offered scholarships. Subsequently, went into private tuition after A levels to give group as well as individual tuitions. Currently offered a scholarship in NTU and was previously offered a placing in Imperial College London. I believe in having passion and work ethic. It is important that learning comes from understanding and results will definitely follow.

Tutoring Subjects

Commitment / Other Details: Start in Jan 2016, full year. Preferably weekends morning, weekday morning and evening on monday, wed or thus.

Rapport Building: Understanding the student's area of weakness and build a strong communication channel for active learning and feedback. Bringing passion and interest into the subject helps the student learn and focus better. It is important to me to always provide the mentorship support that the student may not receive in school or from their fellow peers. Aside from this, it is to go the extra mile in caring for the student. Be in the area of their health, daily habits or emotional support.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: To keep practising on past year papers and stay in sync with current syllabus. Still keeping in very close touch with many of my JC teachers whom are currently still teaching in my school and returning back to school once in a while to volunteer as a replacement teacher.
