I am new to tutoring but I have always been consistently helping my brother (currently in Sec 3) with his schoolwork, especially maths. I've taught a child with autism for a period of 3 months.
I am able to commit to a tuition assignment for at least one year, open to discussion with the student and his/ her parents. I can start tutoring immediately.
Rapport Building
I have a fun and outgoing personality. I tend to smile a lot and I am also very patient with children. Being in a diploma in the school of humanities and social sciences, I do a lot of research and school work on people and specifically marginalised groups in the society. I am able to empathise and build connections with people easily.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I love maths and anything to do with numbers. I help my cousins (since p1-p4) with their schoolwork and read up on the current mathematics syllabus to keep up with the curriculum.
