Rapport Building
During the first lesson, I will find out more about my student's background by asking him/her some questions. For example, what are your hobbies, CCA. At the same time, I will also share more information about myself. For the subsequent lessons, I will always smile at the student and make eye contact with him/her.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I will check the syllabus online to make sure I am teaching my students the relevant stuff. To double confirm, I will also take a look at their textbooks before lessons start.
