- Taught 4 students, 1st student improved from F9 to A2, 2nd student improved from F9 to B4. 3rd Student improved from F9 to B3, 4th student improved from F9 to A2.
I love teaching secondary students easy and clear cut methods to solve all the mathematics questions. I find that schools are overloading students with too much information that are required with reference to most students taking 7 subjects in secondary school. I would love to cut down the students' burden of learning unnecessary content and focus and tackle on content that are useful for their learning and enjoyment.
I am willing to commit to teach the students till their O or N level examinations.
Rapport Building
I can find common topics and conversation with the students based on what is happening on ground. I was once a secondary school student, I can really empathize how much work and stress they have to go through, and I want to do is to help them, to assist them in enjoying learning.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I always update myself with my other undergraduate friends who are teaching tuition as well. We exchange past year papers and make sure that our topics and chapters are updated based on SEAB.
As a Good Tutor
I have patience with students that are slow learner and also have determination to make sure that they understand before moving on to the next concept. And I am confident to make my students ACE in their exams as long as they are putting in consistent effort in tuition period. I will also reward my students for doing well so as to spurs them to go after the next milestone.
