Rapport Building
I am generally a very bubbly person, who is able to connect with anyone. Parents generally like me and approach me to tutor their kids all the time. I'm genuinely looking at this tutoring gig to help any kid I can in a subject I love, so I am pretty sure I will put your needs ahead of mine most of the time.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have a younger sister who has just completed her O' Levels. Throughout her examination period, I helped her to study for her Maths. I have also helped my other cousins and I am pretty sure I am sufficiently up to date with the curriculum.
As a Good Tutor
I think patience is a key quality as every student has their own learning ability. By taking the time to ensure the student understands and gets what I'm trying to say, it helps us all in the long run, but especially the student. The tutor's ability to adapt is also important as learning is not a "one method suits all" situation. This ties in with the patience needed as a tutor has to do their own research to see what the student is more receptive towards and help think of methods to help the student learn.
