Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have given private tuition for about 3 years and my experience is with upper primary students (P4-6) and helping them prepare for PSLE. I have also done contract relief teaching for 7 months in a Primary School in Yishun and taught English, Math and Science and I think I know the primary school syllabus well and have materials from various schools. I think I'm qualified because I can be a friend to the tutee but at the same time instil discipline and be a good tutor at the same time.

Commitment / Other Details
I am free all the way now till mid September (so I'll be free all day, everyday) where I start my full time job as an accountant which means I will only be free on weekday nights and weekends.
Rapport Building
I usually tell them more about myself and what I intend to do with their child. I also give updates on the student's progress and to let them know what we've done and learnt to keep them in the loop.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
My mother is a HOD in one of the primary schools so I check in with her to find out more about the syllabus. I have been tutoring for about 3 years so I'm familiar if the syllabus changes.
As a Good Tutor
I think having patience and also being a good friend to the student helps the student be warmer to you and make him want to do his best.
