Tuition/Teaching Experience
Having taught as a private tutor and in schools, I truly enjoy teaching and working with students to allow them to excel in their studies. In the past (4 years), I have taught General Paper (A-level H2 subject) to JC-level students as well as English to secondary school students. I have also taught English to primary school students. My diverse array of experiences have taught me and allowed me to hone my teaching and communication skills.

Commitment / Other Details
As a current law graduate sitting for the Bar, I will be able to tutor part time - my weekends and weekday afternoons will be available. Timing and lesson schedules are negotiable. I am able to start immediately. I am fine with group classes, and will prefer to go to the tutees' houses.
Rapport Building
I am friendly, sociable and at the same time disciplined with my students. Having worked with students before, I believe that I can engage my tutees well and work with them effectively to achieve the grades that they seek. I also believe in maintaining good relations with the parents - informing them constantly on the students' progress as well as discussing with them the next steps that need to be taken. I am always contactable and ready to help.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
With a parent working in the education system, I believe that I can ensure that I am constantly updated with the curriculum. As I also have friends working in the education sector, I do not believe this will be a problem.
As a Good Tutor
I believe that it is important for a tutor to be dedicated and committed, as well as patient and caring. A tutor must be understanding of the student's abilities and needs, and must encourage that student to reach his or her potential.
