I worked at JustEducation for 3 months after graduating from JC. I helped to give extra lessons for students who were falling behind the syllabus. Though this was very challenging at times, it was also extremely fulfilling to see the students improve.
As an undergrad at NUS, I have a summer break from May-Jul and thus will have a very flexible schedule during those months.
Once semester begins, I will usually have at least 1 day without any lessons, and will definitely be able to commit to tutoring.
I am able to begin teaching in May 2015 and can commit long-term.
Rapport Building
I enjoy working with children very much and am currently serving in the children's church ministry in my church.
I believe this empowers me to be able to tutor effectively, as I will be able to communicate easily with the student. Further, my desire to see the student succeed will drive me to be an excellent educator.
