Hello! I'm Akshaya and i’m currently a Year 1 undergraduate enrolled in the double degree program in SMU (Computer Science and Business) with the SCIS scholarship. I have 2 years of teaching experience, both 1 to 1 tuition and teaching both primary and secondary students in tuition centre (BrightMindz Education).
I received 9 raw, 5 nett for O Levels. I have also received Silver Award for a Nanyang Research Programme (NRP) by NTU in JC and A for Phy, Chem, Maths, Econs for A Levels.
I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment by tailoring my teaching style to suit each student’s unique needs. I emphasize interactive learning and step-by-step guidance to build confidence and foundation. My students have also shown much improvements, with my Sec 3 E-Math student who was failing her math exams improving to a B3 for her end of year and my P4 student starting to love maths!
