Tuition/Teaching Experience
I joined MOE in 1999 and left the service in 2006 due to childcare reasons. I joined an enrichment centre in late 2007 as a part time tutor and has been tutoring since then.
I am doing full time1 to 1 tuition and currently have students from p1 to p6.
Rapport Building
I have a star system for students to motivate them to want to do more. I also chat with students to make them feel comfortable with me so they are not afraid to approach me when they have questions. As a single mother of 3, I understand the stress and anxiety students and parents go through. Parents also text me when they have questions and I provide feedback as and when needed.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have close to 20years of teaching experience and is in the loop with the curriculum.
