        I had obtained many awards from different compeititions such as the Singapore Mathematical Olympaid, SASMO, CB Paul science quiz, Physics Olympaid, ICAS, Australian Math Olympaid and many more. I am currently studying in a junior college so i am pretty fresh with all the curriculum. Furthermore, my goal is not to just let your child past or get an A. With my help, i could teach how your child could become an overachiever.
        As a Good Tutor
        I believe a Good Tutor should have knowledge of subjects, not just solely of the curriculum, but outside of it. With knowledge of just the curriculum, there is no way for the tutor to break it down for the students to understand. I, on the otherhand, have extensive knowledge especially in the field of mathematics and physics. Another traits i think good tutor should have is open mindedness. Different students will prefer different ways of thinking and hence,solving a problem. A Good Tutor should improves a student's way of thinking rather than force their way of thinking onto a student.

                I strongly believe that good grades are achieved with curated study methods, and everyone can achieve them! I would also be patient with the tutee, and try to nurture an encouraging environment for learning. However, if there is a need to be firm, I would be firm.                   I have 10 years of teaching in a secondary school as a full time teacher, i left the service to focus on other interests and for personal reasons. I enjoyed teaching tremendously, especially the informal interaction with my ex students.I tutored for two years, the first year being in a friend's tuition centre (2014) , after which I set off on my own as a free lance tutor (2015).

I am professional in my conduct and I take pride in giving students quality lessons which i believe will come through quite clearly during lessons.                   My students show improvement in their grades most of the time. I don't work against the flow of the teachers in school, rather i complement what the teachers cannot do in a typical classroom, which is to troubleshoot the areas of weaknesses of the students, be it fundamental flaw in understanding of basic concepts, or that the student needs more practice in a specific area of the subject.
                  My basic expectation of myself as a tutor is that my student shows improvement in their grades.
