Tuition/Teaching Experience
I've helped many students over the years in achieving an 'A' for A-level Economics.

For the really weak students, some of them achieved an 'A' while others still managed to improve their grades from a 'E' to a 'B'.

Commitment / Other Details
For weaker students, I believe in imparting exam techniques and good studying methods to master the A-level Economics material as efficiently as possible.

For example, many students have difficulties understanding certain graphs in economics as teachers in schools, due to the lack of time, may not necessarily explain the graphs fully. Hence, I tend to use real-life examples to give the students a general idea on why the graphs are drawn a certain way before diving into the technicalities.

In A-level Economics, there is a huge emphasis on having key phrases in the essays in order to obtain maximum marks. Hence, I tend to focus in ensuring that students include these key phrases in their essays.

As for case studies, students need to apply the economic theories to real-life examples. Many students have difficulties as it is difficult to prepare for case-study questions since case studies given by the teachers change all the time. Thus, I also help the students in developing intuition such as how to take note for keywords in the questions to answer the questions skilfully.

For stronger students, besides teaching the students exam techniques, I share more interesting economics theories with the students so that they can have a greater appreciation of what economics is really about.
