Tutoring Subjects

Commitment / Other Details: I will be able to start immediately.
Weekdays are negotiable. I m only available after 7pm.
As for weekends, I will be available on Sunday from 10am - 1pm.
I can commit to long-term tuition.

Rapport Building: I believe it is important as a tuotor to have a good rapport with the students. This is by understanding the weaknesses of the students and positively molding him/her to be able to perform better. To always motivate and have a persevering attitude.
In this way, students would tend to trust the teachers more and also would want to learn more effectively.

As for parents, discussing the academic progressions of the student is important. In this way parents are informed on how their children are performing and they would also know how to motivate them accordingly.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I do have affiliations with MOE Teachers. Through them, I keep myself updated with the syllabus and curriculum. Moreover, I check MOE's website regularly for any changes in students content of study.

As not all schools follow the same syllabus, I do check with students individually prior to commencing a lesson.

As a Good Tutor: To accommodate to a students way of learning and to be consistent with the teaching methods. Students always get used to a certain teaching method and they tend to learn better when taught in that specific way. To find out which students, learns better using which specific method should be a teacher's utmost priority.

To be always prepared is an additional essential quality.
As for preparing lessons for my students, I always print the worksheets and go through it personally before handing it to the students. I believe it is important to know my material thoroughly before delivering it to my students. I always have my material prepared two to three days before my classes.
