Rapport Building
I will try to update the tutee's progress on the subject with his/her parents on a regular basis to keep the parents informed about the student's performances

The content taught to student and the pace of teaching will be amended based on the tutee's understanding of the subject so that he/she can follow.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Reference books available in the market and MOE online portal will be used primarily as sources of information on the curriculum.
Exam papers from different schools as well as revision notes will be used as a gauge of how other students in the same cohort are doing.

I am currently an undergraduate student majoring in chemical engineering. Hence maths and chemistry are still relevant subjects of concern, and will make sure that I am informed about any updates in the related fields.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor should be able to patiently adjust him/herself to the individual needs of the students.

The ultimate goal is to help a student get rid of any misunderstanding or lack of knowledge in one subject, as well as to instill the interests on the subject into the student's mind, so that he/she can become an active and self-motivated learner of the subject in the time to come.
