    I have given tuition to a secondary 1 boy last year and have been volunteering to give free physics tuition to my secondary school juniors since 2 years ago. I am a strong believer that hard work and understanding are the keys for academic excellence. In other words, i do not encourage rote learning. The curriculum nowadays focuses more on applying the content that you know on novel situations rather than just regurgitating facts from the textbook. Therefore, it is crucial that students know where and how to apply their knowledge when answering questions
