Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have been tutoring for over 5 years and have tutored students of various levels, from secondary to JC levels. All my students saw improvement, with some improving from a failing grade to at least a B.

I tailor my teaching method to each student's needs as every individual is unique and I do not believe that there is a one-size-fits-all method in helping them.

Commitment / Other Details
I am able to start asap and can continue until my assistance is no longer required. I am available everyday and group tuition sessions will be held at my residence.
Rapport Building
Most of the times, students learn best when they believe in their tutors and feel comfortable with them. Hence, I feel that it is important for me to build rapport with my students such that they see me as a friend but respect me as a tutor. I pay much attention to the mood and feelings of my students and express genuine concern in any problems that they share with me. Students must always be able to trust that I will be there should they wish to confide in me.

To keep parents in the knowing of their children's progress, I would give regular feedback to parents on their children's improvements, strengths and weaknesses, as well as how I plan to help their children.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I would regularly check with my friends who are teaching in schools whether they are changes to the curriculum. I also frequent bookstores to look at the latest books just to make sure I am kept abreast of the latest developments.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor must not be good at teaching, but also good at observing, listening and advising. Apart from book knowledge, a tutor should impart life skills and experience.
