Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have recently finished a teaching stint at Serangoon Junior College, taking a class of 26 students for general paper. My students described me as someone patient and interesting, who made the lessons fun for them. Generally, I try to make lessons better for the student via the use of trigger activities while still managing to get the important points across.

Commitment / Other Details
I will be leaving for university in September - therefore, I will only be able to commit for the next six months. If the student is taking A Levels, however, I feel that it would be a sufficient duration for preparation.

As I am currently not working, I am able to go for tuition any time and any day, as long as it is before 6pm.
Rapport Building
I like to learn what the student likes so that I can better relate to them both through lessons and as a person. For example, if the student likes the Avengers, then I would use the Avengers as examples for the subject that I'm teaching so that they can relate to it and learn from it better.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I always go through the SEAB syllabuses before beginning my lessons to make sure that what I am teaching is relevant. I also check with people I know from that particular age group doing that particular subject.
