Tuition/Teaching Experience: Although I do not have any official teaching experience as a tutor, I do have experience teaching my juniors in secondary school when their o levels is round the corner. I enjoy teaching people as I get a sense of satisfaction when the person I am teaching is enlightened by me.

Tutoring Subjects

Commitment / Other Details: I can only make it on Friday nights and weekends. Location would preferably be around central north area as I stay in Ang Mo Kio.

Rapport Building: I am a very easy going person . I try to get involved in everything I can so I can increase my general knowledge and thus making it easier to communicate with people as there will be more common topics to talk about. I would probably find some common topics with my students such as games , sports or anything under the sun.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I will borrow the books and read up before teaching, to make sure I revised what I am going to teach and know what is needed in the curriculum

As a Good Tutor: To be a good tutor,I believe patience is one of the most important quality. Patience does mean being able repeat the same thing many times , but to be able to do it without getting frustrated and trying to think of other ways to tackle a question when the student has problems understanding the method being taught.
Passion is also very important as one will only go the extra mile in doing work when there is passion and enthusiasm. As a passionate teacher , you will also make the learning environment less boring and hence influence the student's attitude towards learning
Perseverance is very crucial too. At no point should a tutor give up on the student. As much as the student is trying hard to understand and grasp new concepts, the tutor should also persevere and try his best to help if the student does not understand what the tutor is teaching after several attempts to bring across the message.
Lastly a tutor should be prepared for his lessons and revise the topic he is going to teach even if he already knows it as there might be small details that may be overlooked , which can be very important.
