Tuition/Teaching Experience
I am confident that I am able to engage the students and helping them to excel in their subjects.

My favourite and best subject in University, JC & Secondary was Mathematics and in my primary school days, I was selected to take part in the Olympiad team. My friends and I love sitting down together after school to tackle challenging Mathematics questions together. For those friends who are weak in Mathematics, I will try to guide them along with handwritten notes and model examples so that they can understand better. I've also taught English & Science for Primary levels.

Commitment / Other Details
I am able to start from August 2013 and am able to commit to a tuition assignment long term.
Rapport Building
On the first lesson, I would like to find out more about the needs, strengths and weaknesses of a student in the particular subject. Mostly working on their strengths to better encourage their confidence in the subject before targeting areas they are weak in.

I would also like to understand the expectations of the parents better so that we can work on the same targets on a semester basis.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I would read up on the curriculum regularly and also work on more challenging assessment books so as to keep up with it.
