    I taught in a tuition centre in Bukit Batok after my National Service while waiting for university to begin. The subjects I took were Primary level maths and science, Secondary level maths and sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and JC Level Chemistry.

    I have no problems engaging in children and youth, as I am not that old that I cannot relate with their problems, worries and aspirations. I am fond of Ultimate (competitive sport known also as Frisbee) , guitar, music, and DotA, and have been through a few relationships, so I can relate to tutees'

    At the same time, I have talked to parents and can understand their perspective when they send their children for tuition.
    Keeping Up with Curriculum
    My previous experience at a tuition centre has ensured that I am not unaware of the changes since my own examination.
    As a Good Tutor
    A good tutor must be able to identify and target the underlying problem which is keeping the student from scoring well. A whole range of factors can affect performance, and it is important that reason be communicated to both parent and tutee.

    He must also monitor the student's progress and take note of the problem areas.
