Rapport Building: I talk with the students about the current subjects and help them with their homework. I also talk with my tutees some practical applications of the knowledge and some jokes. For the parents, I do update the parents at least once per month or more depending on the availability of the parents.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: The curriculum for O levels, A levels, IGCSE and IB are all found on the websites. I read these syllabus frequently and note any changes.

As a Good Tutor: I felt that being patient and meticulous are qualities that a successful home tutor should have. A successful home tutor should also have the skill to know when a child is struggling and thus know when to help the child.

Rapport Building: As someone who has had 8 years of experience working in the Education industry, I am very familiar with the concerns that parents have when choosing someone to guide their children in their duties. Keeping Up with Curriculum: Most of my students come to me low grades (AL7 and below). Within 6 months, I am able to help them to pull their grades up to AL6 and above. Most importantly, they are able to identify the mistakes they made in the past and explain why it is wrong. They will be able to understand their previous misconceptions clearly and not repeat these mistakes. This will help them to consistently prepare for the PSLE examinations, as they are not just memorising answers and forgetting them within days.
