                With immense grit and determination, I achieved 2 H2 Distinctions in Math and Econs after studying for 6 years in RI under the integrated programme. That was not an easy feat for me, as I struggled in my earlier years in RI. Through effective study methods, however, I slowly discovered academic success in JC, which concluded my tertiary education journey on a high note.

                Apart from my academics, I am a singer-songwriter that showcases my own originals on Spotify for the world to hear. I believe that a passion for learning is similar to having a passion for a certain hobby (in my case, singing and writing) - after understanding the basics, there is a possibility that a deep interest will be formed, and a natural inkling and desire to learn more will grow. I will always strive to nurture that in my students.
                Keeping Up with Curriculum
                Even after graduation, I have continued to give 1-1 tuition to some of my juniors, ensuring that I am well versed in the economics and mathematics concepts, to ensure that I will be an effective teacher when called to the task. Thankfully, being someone who loves to read, as well as to discover the workings of the world, I find myself venturing into books that teach a higher level of economics and mathematics than what I have been taught in JC, such as econometrics.

                As I was not a stellar student in my earlier years, I understand the pain of having to catch up on concepts that one is weaker at, and as such, will always come from a position of guidance when encountering a student who needs more help. I will always do my best to facilitate a fun and fruitful learning environment.
