Conducive Study room at home
Every student or child will require a suitable home environment while revising their work or to simply enjoy a book. We are here today to advice on the concepts of a study environment; hopefully you will be able to build something practical and wonderful.

Colours

Light colours will go well with the eyes; the most common of all is white followed by light pink, light yellow, light blue or light green. Choose any colours that your child is able to settle in comfortably.

Bookshelves and drawers

A decent amount of bookshelves to store books for the whole family, as well as the child text books. The drawers are necessary to keep the items neat and tidy; I believe that cleanliness is next to godliness. Remember to have a decent amount of stationary in stock.

White board

A white board that could be hang up in front of the desk, it can help serve as a constant reminder to the child of things to do and accomplish. A calendar will be good to remind the child, of an upcoming test or examination, instead of your constant reminder. Let the child take ownership of their responsibilities.

Lighting in the room

Install an adjustable ceiling light and lamp in the room, a suitable degree of brightness can make all the difference. It can help protect the eyes of the child as well compared to reading in a dim area.

Chair and bean bags

We would recommend a chair that could keep the spine upright, to encourage the child to sit upright rather than slouching. Do remember to have at least 2 chairs; the other chair is reserve for the tutor. A bean bag will be cool to have in the room, so that the child can rest whenever they feel fatigue. A short recharge can push them to greater heights.
