Keeping Up with Curriculum
I recently graduated with Diploma in Computer Engineering from Temasek Polytechnic. During the course of my studies, I learnt about Python, R, VBA, Java, HTML, C+, C++ and applied knowledge in projects. My final-year Major Project involved Sleep Monitoring and Analysis SELA (Single Elderly Living Alone) subjects. It required us to retrieve raw data, create webpage, analyse and dynamic plotting of graphs. Data were retrieved using PHP programming and graphs were automated using macros. This project, done in a team of three, showcased collaboration with PHILIPS, problem solving and innovation. This project was awarded a commendation prize from the school of Engineering, Temasek Polytechnic.
My extensive part-time work experience in the F&B industry, customer services, as well as varied involvement in organizing co-curricular activities for my diploma club have honed my communication skills, as well as service and customer focus. I have 5 years of teaching experience whereby I have also voluntarily thought in Jun Yuan Primary School as a mentor during my co-curricular activities in Temasek Polytechnic.
