Tuition/Teaching Experience
It has been said that I am a patient tutor, good at simplifying and explaining concepts with analogies to help students better understand material. I have tutored a cousin and my friends from NUS.

Rapport Building
Hi! My name is Marcus and I'm currently in my 4th year of pursuing a Bachelor's of Science (Life Sciences) degree in NUS. If students or parents would like to get to know me before accepting an assignment, I would be more than happy to speak to them first, whether it's through phone or a meetup.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Having tutored my cousin in the past, I got a feel of what students are learning in school these days. With my knowledge, studying biology at the university level, I am certain I would be able to more-than-adequately tackle your child's needs.
As a Good Tutor
I think it is essential, as a good tutor, to tailor their teaching to suit each student, which requires more than just getting to know the problems students are facing in their school work. I would like to start off by getting to know the habits of students, their situations, their schedule (so I get a feel of how busy they are and how they can put in an adequate amount of effort into their studies); then I'd proceed to assessing their problems with their school work, before considering the best way to tackle it. I would then break down their problems into ones that they can understand and tackle them.
