Tuition/Teaching Experience
I am relatively new when it comes to the service of providing tuition. The only experience I have is tutoring my siblings and cousins during my free time.
In my opinion, tutoring is a fruitful endeavor as I can personally see the improvements made by my students. It does provide a sense of accomplishment upon seeing the good results achieved and the joy shared by both the students and myself is indeed rewarding.
In today's competitive environment in schools, I believe achieving good results is of the utmost importance and a common aim shared by every parent. I have been through Singapore's education system and can provide sound advice to my students about school.
I believe every student has the potential to achieve favorable results and will look forward to the challenges presented.

Commitment / Other Details
I would be able to start from September 2013 onward. I would prefer to teach at night and the duration of each lesson will be dictated by the parents themselves. Of course, any request by the student's parents is welcome as I am willing to accommodate with the student's timetable. The type of tuition provided would be a personal 'one-on-one' session.
Rapport Building
Learning should be both a stimulating and engaging experience for the students as they must be willing to learn. When the learning process is made interesting, the student would then be able to easily understand the fundamentals of various concepts efficiently. By grooming students to be naturally curious by constantly asking questions, the easier it is for them to learn and comprehend the subject being taught.
Patience is the key when it comes to teaching as the process of learning is not instantaneously and students will take time understand and master what they have recently learnt. Simple rewards such as sweets or positive reinforcements through praises can boost a student's confidence and willingness to learn. I would want the student to enjoy their tuition sessions and not see it as a burden or a dread . As a result, a positive mindset is developed within the student thus making every tuition session fruitful and conducive.
