Have one year experience as a Teaching Assistant for freshman math class at my university in USA. Assisted the professor in holding tutorial classes twice a week, as well as grading homework and exam questions.
Have tutored Sec 4 student in E Math for a year - the student proceeded to Nanyang Junior College and took the double math combination. He later went on to SMU.
Have guided a J1 student in Math to improving his grade from failing to a B.

I believe in the total development of the student's well being, academic and otherwise. It is important for the student to firstly take interest in the subject(s) s/he embarks on and to further that interest into something they feel passionate about. Life is, after all, more than just exams and grades. I like to base my teaching style on this philosophy and hopes the student enjoys learning from me, just as i do from them.
