Tuition/Teaching Experience
I taught Chinese to a primary school student for about 3 months. I planned well for teaching. First of all, I made summaries, which helped my student to learn Chinese more efficiently. Secondly, I gave regular quizzes to make her study constantly.Little gifts were given for encouragement, if she got high scores. Thirdly, I taught my student to classify the types of different questions. This helped her to understand the topics and score better in exams. Moreover, I tried to make my student love the subject. This made studying much easier and more enjoyable.
I am specialised in Chinese and Mathematics. I won Distinction in 2007&2008 Australian Mathematics Competition and Bronze in 2007 Singapore Mathematical Olympiad.

Commitment / Other Details
Current Year 3 Civil Engineering student in NTU. I am able to teach at night on Mon. Wed and Thur. Anytime on weekends would be fine. I can start ASAP and teach for 2 years, though I may need a break in Jun and July in 2014.
