Commitment / Other Details
I am able to start beginning from mid August and to commit long-term so as to ensure consistency and rapport with the students that i take up.
Rapport Building
My system works by having a consolidation or catch-up session with the students and/or parents at the end of every week to have a gauge on how the student is progressing, to check if it is necessary for me to change my teaching methods in order to be more suited for each individual kid. This ensures that the student is able to be more independent in regards to their learning as well as for the parents to be more involved.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have just graduated from A levels, which means that the syllabus that I followed is more or less similar to the current one. I also spend my free time reading up and familiarising myself with the current and upcoming minute syllabus changes.
As a Good Tutor
I think that the basics of a good tutor is to be a good support system for the student, so that they are able to learn how to seek help, and to be more deeply engaged with the content when they they do.
