I value not just academic enrichment but also the in parting of values and experiences. I hope not just to mold students to strive academically, but also to develop effective learning techniques. I hope to be able to understand students individually so as to help each one in isolation, as I believe no two students are the same.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Although I am not NIE trained, the curriculum is reflected in the school work assigned to the student. By reviewing his assignments and homework, I will be able to devise an appropriate study plan for the student, as well as understand what sort of information the school hopes to impart to the student.
As a Good Tutor
Coming from an English speaking family, as well as pursuing my degree of English Literature in NTU, I take pride in my primary language and hope to inculcate this same level of pride and confidence in students. Additionally, I don't think that tutors should only be focused on academic excellence but also engage in imparting valuable experience, whether it be from national service or other forms of tertiary education.
