Rapport Building
I have been teaching both primary and secondary school students for 2 years. The subjects I have been teaching are mainly maths, physics, biology. Primary school students who I have taught before mostly attained an A to A* , whereas for secondary school students, they mostly attained a grade in the range of B3 to A1. Personally, I feel that I am relatively a patient and strict tutor who makes sure my students understand concepts well before continuing. I find it important for all students of mine to understand what they are studying fully. At the same time, I would try to spark their interest in the subjects that I am teaching them.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I find it important for all students of mine to be able to keep up with the lessons in class by helping them understand concepts way ahead of their peers. I frequently check the syllabus to keep updated and make sure that students are well-prepared for every upcoming exam. I aim to help students clear any misconceptions they have so that they do not fall behind in class and teach them good problem-solving methods and strategies which have been proven to work for many other students.
