it is my duty as a tutor to learn about the students likes & dislikes and adjust to their comfort zone while teaching. I do not believe in just giving them practice questions each day as the base of each subject is the utmost important factor. So I will drill the basics of each subjects before attempting questions thereafter student will confidently attempt the questions. I will report to parents each day about their children's behavior and willingness in learning. It is important as a tutor to keep the lesson going by encouraging the students each day for thier smallest effort.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I will keep up with the latest syllabus in schools by going through the textbooks and practice qestions beforehand . Also I do have links with MOE teahers as well so I could also check with them for the latest syllabus
As a Good Tutor
It is necessary for each tutor to know well about their students and their capabilities before ven touching on the academic. The student must also be comfortable with the tutors so they can willingly ask questions without fright. Knowing students comfort zone is an important factor and being patient as well.
