Commitment / Other Details
Being a full time tutor means that I'll be able to commit long term and for the whole academic year.
Rapport Building
I would build rapport differently based on the students character. I would use treats for rewarding the kids for being an attentive student. And i also do weekly update to the parent on their child's progress so that they are updated with their child's improvement and weaknesses.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Often keep updated by talking to friends who are working as Primary school teachers. Often browsing the assessment books to keep myself updated with the latest curriculum.
As a Good Tutor
I am patient and encouraging, but at the same time I can be strict and stern and it all depends on the child's character. I believe each student has their own individuality and one size fits all teaching method should not be applied to all students.
